Robert Boyer is a semi-retired commercial photographer now living in Wooster, Ohio. While growing up in rural Wayne County, Ohio he attended The University of Akron and later completed his formal education at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York State. After completing studies in both Graphic Arts and Photographic Illustration he was hired as an assistant by the owner of a small commercial and advertising photography studio in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the following decades as this studio grew in reputation, he had the privilege of learning and working with many of the best local, national and international business clients and art directors. While employed he was also an active member of The American Society of Media Photographers. He is presently enjoying semi-retirement and the return to his roots in Wayne County. He plans on continuing his passion for photography, woodworking and travel with his wife Deb and they enjoy visiting with their son Ted who lives on the west coast.
